A unique holiday accommodation experience, staying within a renovated 18th-century doo’cot, which is now a cosy holiday cottage for four.

Enjoy a picture-perfect escape in the unique, historic Nisbet’s Tower; modernised to comfortably cater for your seaside break, and recently awarded four stars as a self-catered property.

The Perfect Escape

Sleeping two, Nisbet’s Tower consists of a king size bed and shower room on the ground floor, with stairs up to an open-plan living, dining and kitchen and living area on the first floor.

Two Smart TVs in the property are perfect for a cosy night in.

All bedding and towels are provided.

The weather was kind to us and we could have coffee on the seats outside the tower whilst looking across the harbour.

LOTS TO SEE AND DO

The tower is ideally situated to explore Eyemouth and the East Berwickshire coast, including the stunning villages of Coldingham and St Abbs, with their weekly market; perfect for locally produced food, crafts and gifts. It is also ideal for Golfers being very close to Eyemouth Golf course.

For keen walkers, why not explore nearby St Abbs Head, a national nature reserve, or challenge yourself to complete ‘The Smugglers’ Trail’ along the Berwickshire Coastal Path from Burnmouth to Cove. Gunsgreen House is itself part of this trail.

Local Amenities

Eyemouth town centre is just a ten minute scenic walk across the harbour, where plenty local amenities are situated including a supermarket, post office, local gift shops and plenty places to eat and drink.

Nearby Attraction

There are a number of nearby attractions, including the Eyemouth Museum and a booth on the harbour-side where fish can be bought to feed the local seals- a favourite with children.

Other Things To Do

Other things to do include taking an exhilarating boat ride on Eyemouth Rib Trips, or practising your golfing skills at Eyemouth Golf Club (famed for its 6th hole across the sea, voted ‘Britain’s No.1 Most Extraordinary Golf Hole’).
