Caroline Adam
Caroline joined the BBC in 1978, working initially in Radio Scotland’s current affairs department before setting up a community radio station for the Borders in 1983. Over 20 years with the corporation she held posts in radio and television production, going on to become Managing Editor of Radio, Scotland, and Commissioning Executive, BBC Scotland. Caroline also represented the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra in the £10m refurbishment of Glasgow City Halls as a concert venue and base for the orchestra. In 2008 she became General Manager of the Eastgate Theatre and Arts Centre in Peebles, continuing in that role until January 2023. During her tenure she was responsible for a capital project to refurbish the auditorium, extend the café, and upgrade the theatre’s BMS.
