Gunsgreen Gatherings




A mixed programme of events and activities aiming to bring people of all ages into Gunsgreen House, attracting visitors as well as local residents, promoting the history of the house, exploring its future potential, generating fresh ideas and approaches through engagement with the public. The programme ran from October to mid-December and included; a Scots Halloween, Autumn Wreath Making, Geology, archaeology and local history, the making of a smuggler, Social history, seafaring and smuggling, Christmas table decorations, Festive afternoon teas and the witches of Eyemouth and East Berwickshire. The programme attracted over 300 people to Gunsgreen.
A new programme for 2026 commenced in February and will run through until end April – one highlight to look out for John Bellany: A Portrait of the Artist with his wife Helen Bellany.
