Supporting Gunsgreen

Gunsgreen House is dependant on the support of others to ensure that it stays open for people to enjoy for years to come. We are currently undergoing a development programme, to help make the house self-sustainable, however in the mean time we are relying on kind donations to keep providing you with the joy of the house.

 

We would appreciate your support in any form, from becoming a friend, making donations to volunteering or simply attending the fundraising events we hold. Any way you join in helps support local heritage.

Become a Friend of Gunsgreen House

Becoming a 'Friend of Gunsgreen House' is one of the most exciting ways you can support The Gunsgreen House Trust and it's work.

Friends benefit from the following:

  • Unlimited Free admission to Gunsgreen House during public opening hours
  • 10% discount on event tickets
  • 10% discount on any accommodation hire
  • 10% discount on any wedding or private party bookings
  • Exclusive promotional prices on selected items in the gift shop (for example, get a copy of the Gunsgreen reprint- ‘Eustace the Outcast’ for just £12! Usual price £17.50)
  • Two events per annum exclusively for the Friends
  • An annual outing will also be organised for the friends to another historic house or castle- please note this outing may be subject to an extra charge
  • Updates by email and post

 

We offer fantastic rates for becoming a Friend, and deals for couples and families, they are as follows:

  • Single- £20 per annum
  • Concession (over 60 or student)- £17.50
  • Couple (Both names must be in residence at the same address) - £30
  • Concession Couple (Both names must be either over 60 or students and must be in residence at the same address)- £25
  • Family (Maximum of 2 adults and 3 children may be listed on the membership)- £40

Volunteering

We are always on the look out for enthusiastic volunteers to join our team. People of any age can join us, and learn about the history of the house. Our volunteers love engaging with the history and meeting all the new people that come through the doors. It's a great way to use your free time to the advantage of charity, and one that is fun as well.

Our Funders

The restorarion and renovation of Gunsgreen House took place over a three year period at a cost of £2.4 million. This certainly was only made possible thanks to the phenomenal support from generous friends, individuals and volunteers who have helped in the restoration of the property. We would also like to thank the organisations to the right for their support.
